OCEANKING is starting off the new year with the sale of a second DOGE 400 GT

OCEANKING, recognized leader in steel yacht construction, is proud to announce the sale of a second unit of the 42 metres DOGE 400 GT, confirming the international appeal of the Italian shipyard.

With a beam of 8.50 metres and a volume of 420 GT, the new vessel has been sold to an seasoned owner who appreciates and trusts the Chioggia Shipyard for its extended experience and skills in steel processing.

The DOGE 400 GT’s innovative style and naval architecture played a key role in the client’s decision, as the model features cutting-edge design and ground breaking layout concept. Rich of subtle materials and precious wood essences, the yacht’s unique interiors promise to provide a refined and elegant atmosphere.

The sale took place last November, immediately followed with the vessel’s keel laying and start of the construction in December. Concurrently at the Chioggia Shipyard, the DUCALE 120 is being prepared for sea trials and delivery, while the first DOGE 400 GT unit is going through the final stages of completion, ahead of its delivery scheduled for the end of summer 2023.

Featuring a three-deck configuration, a bulbous bow, ample yet balanced external lines and an impressive signature sky lounge, the DOGE 400 GT was conceived with an innovative approach to anticipate customer requests. The spacious and welcoming areas throughout the vessel feature a refined design in an unprecedented layout. Most of the vertical surfaces are glazed, contributing to the yacht’s majestic aura while delivering a fabulous flow of light into the main saloon.

Fitted with two CAT C32 ACERT 1,450 hp engines, the DOGE 400 GT has a top speed of 16 knots and amazing performances at her most fuel efficient speed, which offers a range of up to 7,500 nautical miles.
