Presented at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, the Explorer 34M marks a new evolution in Ocean King’s design language. With naval architecture by Hydro Tec (Eng. Sergio Cutolo) and interiors by BurdissoCapponi Yachts&Design, the project redefines the shipyard’s identity within the contemporary explorer yacht segment.
More than an interior design exercise, the Explorer 34M delivers a coherent and recognizable spatial narrative, capable of standing out within the Ocean King range while remaining true to the brand’s DNA. Atmosphere, architectural rigor and meticulous detailing merge into a unified and refined onboard experience.
The concept is built around recurring elements that shape a strong visual identity: a square grid that organizes spaces with rational clarity, circular lighting features that soften the geometry, and metal mesh partitions that ensure visual permeability without enclosing volumes. This language recalls the technical and industrial aesthetic of true explorer vessels, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
Material research plays a central role: Cimento finishes with a Brutalist feel, perforated metal surfaces and technical detailing engage in dialogue with layered and sophisticated lighting solutions, creating a balanced interplay between strength and refinement. Lighting from integrated linear systems to circular tubular elements and decorative accents becomes an integral part of the architecture.
The interiors are offered in two distinct chromatic moods: one centered on deep burgundy tones, warm and enveloping; the other on nuanced shades of green, more natural with subtle nautical references. In both cases, the layout privileges fluidity, avoiding rigid compartmentalization and enhancing visual continuity between spaces.
